Jeffrey S. Bullard, Esq., is a founding partner at Bullard & Powell, APC. His primary practice areas are
Criminal Defense,
DUI Defense, and DMV Administrative Hearings. Mr. Bullard has practiced exclusively in these areas since 2004 and has handled thousands of cases throughout his career.
Jeff has developed extensive experience defending clients facing a wide range of criminal charges. He particularly enjoys cases involving drugs and firearms, and he welcomes the challenges that complex criminal cases can present. He takes a thorough approach to each case, examining the evidence, identifying potential legal and constitutional issues, and developing a defense strategy based upon the specific facts and needs of each client.
Mr. Bullard's primary objective is simple: to give every client the same service he would provide to his own family and the same service he would want to receive. Jeff takes the attorney-client relationship very seriously. He believes that effective representation requires more than simply knowing the law—it requires communication, accessibility, preparation, and a genuine understanding of the person behind the case. That philosophy drives him to provide dedicated representation and personalized legal strategies tailored to each client's needs.
Throughout his career, Jeff has remained committed to criminal defense because he understands what is at stake for his clients. A criminal accusation can affect a person's freedom, livelihood, family, and future. Jeff works to make sure his clients understand what they are facing, understand their options, and have an advocate who is prepared to fight for their interests.
Jeff's commitment to criminal defense has also been recognized by the community. He was honored with the People's Choice Award for Best of the Desert – Criminal Defense, recognizing him among the area's criminal defense attorneys.
Jeff attended Appalachian State University, where he greatly enjoyed his college years. His time at Appalachian State remains an important and memorable part of his life, and he continues to look back fondly on the experiences and friendships he made there.
Outside of practicing law, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their two daughters. Much of his free time is now spent coaching his daughters' softball teams and supporting them both on and off the field. He enjoys being involved in their practices, games, and tournaments and appreciates the opportunity to share his love of competition, teamwork, and perseverance with them.
Jeff is also a cigar aficionado and enjoys the occasional cigar as a way to slow down, relax, and spend time with friends and family. Whether he is at a softball field with his daughters or enjoying a cigar and good conversation, Jeff values the time he gets to spend with the people closest to him.
